The Chinese Congress of Theoretical and Applied Mechanics (CCTAM) 2009, organized by the Chinese Society of Theoretical and Applied Mechanics (CSTAM) and hosted by Zhengzhou University, was held on August 24 – August 26, 2009 in Zhengzhou, Henan Province.
CCTAM aims to bring together researchers and scientists from mechanics-related communities in China and to provide a good platform for sharing the latest advances in these fields. The congress is convened by CSTAM every two years and it is the first time that the meeting is held outside of Beijing.
CCTAM 2009 consists of opening and closing plenary lectures, semi-plenary lectures, 15 committee tracks, 16 sub-sections and 51 mini-symposia, which covers a wide range of mechanics-related topics and emerging discoveries in rapidly growing disciplines. Attendance from 51 universities and institutions topped more than 1,800, including 16 academicians of the Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS) or of the Chinese Academy of Engineering (CAE), and more than 30 Presidents or Vice Presidents of universities.
Our products caused the attention the scholars, especially the Tactile Pressure Measurement System.Due to the pressure test is the breakthrough change,it caused extensive concern of the conference representatives. At the same time, our delagates had a great discussion with the scholars for their problem of the measurement. We provided the solutions, and promised we would give details solutions after the meeting, that receivd the recognition from the delegates.
