Our company attended the 11th mechanics and geotechnical engineering academic meeting in Lanzhou, on 16 August-19 Agust, which is the biggist and top level academic conference in the geotechnical engineering industry. And it is convened every four years. There were more than 1200 people took part in the meeting, who were from universities, design units, the construction units and so on. International soil mechanics and geotechnical engineering association (ISSMGE) President Jean-Louis Briaud was invited to attend the meeting and have a academic report.
The meeting has eight theme report and eight invited the report, and the foundation treatment, shallow foundation and pile foundation, soil testing, deep foundation pit and underground engineering, special soils and slope, soil engineering properties, environmental geotechnical and geosynthetic materials, soil dynamics and geotechnical earthquake, the construction of the dam of the soil mechanics and geotechnical engineering and project set up at the venue. Nearly 200 academic report, which involves all aspects of geotechnical engineering field.
